Innovation in Safe and Efficient Air Operations

At the renowned CES 2025 event, Wisson Robotics has created a buzz with the unveiling of their soft aerial robots. This innovation is led by their standout models, the AP3-P3, specifically designed for facade cleaning, and the versatile manipulator AP30-N1, marking a significant technological advancement in the sector through the integration of Pliabot® arm technology. Positioned at booth 8262 in the Smart Cities section of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the company is set to show how its technology can revolutionize multiple industries.

The evolution of drones has exceeded initial expectations in photography and surveying. Now, their application is expanding into fields demanding higher capabilities, including direct object interaction. This approach requires a high level of adaptability and stability from the equipment, even under challenging conditions. Aware of these demands, Wisson Robotics has developed Pliabot®, a patented technology incorporated in their new “Orion” series of aerial robots.

The Orion series offers a wide range of functionalities with its N, P, G, and D lines, enabling everything from aerial grasp and transfer to cleaning and contact detection. These abilities represent a qualitative leap, enabling high-precision operations both in flight and suspension. Industries such as renewable energy infrastructure maintenance, emergency rescue, and environmental protection will greatly benefit from this advancement.

In particular, the Orion AP3-P3 aerial cleaning system is set to revolutionize facade and tower maintenance. Its lightweight design, weighing just 1.3 kg, along with a high-pressure pump and an adjustable multi-angle Pliabot® gimbal, makes it possible to access traditionally hard-to-reach areas such as eaves and sills. Its adaptive balance system is crucial for mitigating recoil and swaying during operations, significantly improving operational safety and efficiency by reducing the need for high-altitude work by operators.

The impact of Wisson’s robots has already been felt in over 100 countries, with applications in diverse sectors such as urban cleaning, autonomous driving, renewable energies, and logistics. The continued acceptance and application of their technologies underscore Wisson Robotics’ significant contribution to enhancing efficiency and safety across various industrial and urban settings.
