Bosch Home Comfort has taken a decisive step in its commitment to sustainability and technological innovation by launching its new line of electric water heaters and tanks, specifically the Therm 6600 S and Tronic models. These products are designed not only to offer efficient solutions for hot water, heating, and climate control, but also to promote a smarter and more responsible home. Key features of these devices include easy installation, energy efficiency, and advanced connectivity.
This launch is part of a transformation process within Junkers Bosch, which aims to integrate the rich tradition of innovation from the Junkers brand, with over 120 years of experience in the sector, with the well-known quality of Bosch. Alicia Escudero, Marketing Director of Bosch Home Comfort Iberia, highlighted that this transition ensures the continuity of high comfort and quality standards, strengthening the brand’s presence in the global market for hot water and heating solutions.
The Therm 6600 S water heaters offer an easy installation option that does not require complicated adjustments, adapting to existing connections. They incorporate the Bosch Adaptive Combustion System, which optimizes performance according to the quality of the gas used. In addition, their intuitive design allows for easy use through a display and user-friendly buttons.
On the other hand, the Tronic range of electric tanks stands out for its modernity and functionality. Available in cylindrical and flat versions, their compact design allows for installation in small spaces. The tanks have innovative features, such as the Smart mode, which optimizes energy consumption through a predictive system. Their design includes an illuminated display that shows the actual capacity of the tank, allowing for easy maintenance without the need to drain the system.
Furthermore, Bosch has introduced the Compress 5800i AW heat pump, which provides heating, climate control, and hot water in a single device, using natural refrigerant R290, making it a highly efficient and eco-friendly option. This system is suitable for both new constructions and renovations and can reach temperatures of up to 75°C, making it easy to integrate with existing radiators. Its Wi-Fi connectivity and compatibility with photovoltaic installations reinforce its sustainable profile.
The launch of these products comes at a time of transformation in the energy solutions market. It is expected that by 2024, the production of hot water will experience moderate growth, driven by the replacement of heaters and the advancement of electric solutions. Energy efficiency and sustainability remain dominant trends, with a significant increase in the renovation of heating systems and the adoption of multitasking heat pumps, especially in new constructions.
Vicente Gallardo, Sales Director of Bosch Home Comfort, emphasized that the commitment to innovation and efficiency is essential to offer solutions tailored to the changing needs of the market, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency that will shape the future of the industry.
