Kalam has supervised and managed the production of identical tiles, made in Valencia and exported to the United States, but with one crucial difference: the new tiles are designed to withstand the harsh weather conditions of Wisconsin, which include severe winters and extreme temperatures. This intervention ensures the pavilion’s durability and resilience, preserving its structure and aesthetics for many more years. Furthermore, the recovery of the lead protections that are part of the roofing was also carried out.

In this second phase of work, the Kalam team is also handling the restoration of other decorative elements, such as the mirrored mosaic details that are part of the building’s ornamentation.
