Kategora and Kora Living: Awarded Best Temporary Accommodation Strategy at the Living Summit

At a recent event held in Madrid, Kategora Real Estate and its hotel management company Kora Living were awarded the recognition for the Best Temporary Accommodation Strategy at the 2025 edition of the Living Summit. The ceremony took place on February 25 and was organized by the COWORD Association of Shared Real Estate Spaces. This award highlights the innovative proposal of Kategora and Kora Living, whose approach, called “One day, one month, one year,” focuses on offering accommodation solutions tailored to short and medium-term stays.

The company has developed three main lines of accommodation: Beach, Flex, and Urban, which translate into versatile and strategically located spaces, ideal for meeting the needs of temporary tourists, digital nomads, displaced workers, and students. A standout example of this strategy is Kora Green City in Vitoria-Gasteiz, which is presented as the Passivhaus accommodation with the largest capacity in Europe. This establishment combines sustainability and technology, allowing stays ranging from one night to several months, and offering multifunctional common spaces that can be adapted to various activities, from coworking to social events.

Another flagship project is Kora Nivaria Beach, located on the beachfront in Tenerife, designed to meet the demand of tourism that prioritizes comfort and personalized experiences in privileged natural environments. During the awards ceremony, both Araceli Martín-Navarro, president of COWORD, and Carolina Roca, co-president of the Living Summit, highlighted the importance of innovation in the temporary accommodation sector and the leadership role of Kora Living.

Roke Ramos, operations director of Kora Living, received the award on behalf of the company, emphasizing the commitment to a model that integrates flexibility, sustainability, and adaptability. This recognition reinforces not only the commercial strategy of Kategora and Kora Living, but also their commitment to the environment and the community. With initiatives that include hiring local talent and organizing authentic activities, the project seeks to generate a positive impact, connecting tourists and residents. This award represents another step in the consolidation of Kategora and Kora Living as leaders in the temporary accommodation sector, marking a milestone in their journey towards sustainability and innovation.
