The Kiloutou Group has taken a decisive step in its expansion in Spain by acquiring the local tool rental company ToolQuick S.L. This operation will not only expand Kiloutou’s network in the Iberian country, but also enrich its service catalog with 30 branches spread throughout the national territory, focused on key sectors such as construction, renovation, and civil engineering.
Founded in 2009, ToolQuick has emerged as a prominent leader in the rental of small and professional machinery for construction, maintenance, and renovations in Spain. The company has an extensive presence in cities such as Barcelona, Alicante, Valencia, Madrid, Malaga, and Seville, among others. With a team of 98 professionals at the helm, ToolQuick manages a complete catalog of over 300 tools, focusing mainly on state-of-the-art electric equipment. Their services include personalized customer care offering direct delivery, collection at local stores, and a strong digital offering.
This acquisition represents a key strategic move for Kiloutou. The company, which had previously acquired several rental businesses to establish a generalist network in Spain, is now poised to develop a sector that has been essential for its success for 45 years, especially in the French market. Although ToolQuick will continue to operate under its own brand, synergies with Kiloutou’s 26 branches and 300 employees in Spain are expected to be significant.
Cyril Brillouet, Managing Director of Kiloutou Spain, emphasized the importance of this acquisition, calling it the most strategic one to date. He highlighted ToolQuick’s strong presence in various relevant provinces and its potential to drive future growth and expansion. Brillouet stated: “Our goal at Kiloutou is to support this growth strategy by combining our offerings with the market knowledge of our teams.”
Meanwhile, José Luís Aliaga, CEO of ToolQuick S.L., expressed his excitement about integrating into the Kiloutou Group. Aliaga emphasized that this change will allow their teams to contribute to the group’s growth with their extensive knowledge of the Spanish market and firm commitment to innovation. He stated that ToolQuick will benefit from new investments and resources from the group to continue growing in Spain.
This move aligns with Kiloutou’s active strategy to promote development through constant organic growth and external expansion. Internationally, this effort is part of a broader strategy to expand in countries like Poland, Italy, Germany, Denmark, and Portugal, thereby consolidating its global presence in the tool and machinery rental sector.
