Konecta and Upsource by Solutions: An Alliance to Transform the Customer Experience with GenAI in Saudi Arabia.

Konecta, a global leader in customer experience solutions and digital services, has announced an ambitious strategic alliance with Saudi Telecom through upsource by solutions, a prominent business process outsourcing (BPO) provider in Saudi Arabia. This agreement, sealed during the LEAP 2025 event and with a three-year term, aims to accelerate the implementation of customer experience solutions based on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in Saudi Arabia and throughout the Gulf region.

The alliance includes a significant investment of $120 million from upsource by solutions, with financial support from Konecta in pre-sales processes. The companies plan to adopt a hybrid customer experience model that combines onshore and offshore services, thus adjusting to the needs of upsource by solutions and the dynamic evolution of the regional market.

Ahmad Elharany, General Manager of the Middle East and Africa Market at Konecta, expressed enthusiasm for this collaboration, emphasizing that working with a strong local partner like upsource by solutions will allow for more effective fulfillment of businesses’ demands in the region. “Saudi Arabia and the Gulf are key markets for our company, and we are committed to offering innovative solutions,” Elharany stated.

The CEO of upsource by solutions, Naif Al Mogbel, highlighted the significance of this alliance in transforming the BPO landscape in the region. “Integrating advanced solutions driven by GenAI will not only enhance the customer experience, but also set new standards for operational efficiency and digital innovation,” Al Mogbel affirmed, reaffirming his company’s commitment to providing solutions that drive sustainable success.

Nourdine Bihmane, CEO of Konecta, added that the company’s expertise in GenAI and digital transformation will be crucial for this collaboration to boost innovation and improve customer satisfaction through smarter, data-driven interactions.

This union is part of a context of expansion and global strategy, as it joins the recent opening of a new Konecta headquarters in New Cairo, Egypt, consolidating the company’s presence in the Middle East as part of its Katalyst 2028 business plan.
