The LEGO Group has announced the opening of a new LEGO store in Valencia. Located at number 9 on the central Carrer de Colón, the store will open its doors on September 28th and will be the first in the Valencian Community and the eighth in Spain. With 175 square meters of space, the store will offer the largest range of LEGO products, including numerous exclusive sets, and will feature various activities for fans to enjoy. In collaboration with Percassi, the LEGO Group has decided to expand its presence in Spain following the success of its six certified stores in Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza, and Seville, as well as the Flagship Store on Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona. This new store in Valencia will allow fans to enjoy interactive experiences, such as the Pick and Build Wall, where they can select the bricks needed for their custom builds.
Visitors will also be able to admire a mosaic inspired by Valencia and a large 3D LEGO model as a tribute to the city. In addition, the store will feature the Build a Minifigure Tower, where minifigures can be created by combining different pieces, and will offer a monthly schedule of challenges and events in the store. Rossana Mastrosimini, Head of LEGO Certified Stores in Western Europe, commented: “At last, the LEGO Group can bring the magic of a LEGO Store to Valencia, a city with a rich cultural heritage and a vibrant community. The doors will open on September 28th to share the joy of creativity, imagination, and play with Spanish fans. This new LEGO Store will be a place where lifelong builders and the most curious newcomers can create, explore, and be inspired.”
Matteo Morandi, CEO of Percassi Retail, added: “For Percassi, it is an honor to open the first LEGO Certified Store in Valencia, on the main shopping street, Carrer de Colón. Calatrava’s architecture, which provides a splendid backdrop to the city, thus welcomes the store with a new concept that stimulates interaction with digital and physical elements, expanding play possibilities, especially for children and young people.” Coinciding with the opening, the LEGO Gaming campaign will also be launched, aimed at children who already enjoy LEGO bricks and video games, offering the opportunity to discover details about this new collection.
The store will be open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 9:30 pm, and on the day of the inauguration, it will open at 12:00 pm with special activities and challenges throughout the day. With this opening, the LEGO Group strengthens its commitment to the Spanish market, bringing playful experiences to more children and promoting its mission to promote learning and creative development through play.
