Miniland and PAZ Rodriguez Launch Mini Me: A Doll Collection to Promote Inclusion

Mini Me, an innovative collaboration between Spanish companies Miniland and PAZ Rodríguez, has launched a doll collection designed to promote diversity and inclusion in the children’s industry. The collection, presented on March 21 in commemoration of World Down Syndrome Day, includes four dolls, two of which feature this syndrome. Each doll is dressed in garments from PAZ Rodríguez’s new spring-summer 2025 collection, faithfully replicating the style of the prestigious Galician firm.

Miniland, with over 60 years of experience in the educational toy sector, and PAZ Rodríguez, which has established itself as one of the leading children’s fashion brands, have decided to come together to showcase diversity in play and fashion. This initiative reflects a strong commitment from both companies to represent diversity in childhood.

The Mini Me collection not only seeks to offer dolls that reflect social reality, but also promotes values of respect and tolerance. Miniland has been a pioneer in social inclusion through play, and its line of dolls includes representations of different backgrounds and conditions, including dolls with Down syndrome, cochlear implants, vitiligo, and glasses.

In addition to its relevance in representation, for every unit of Mini Me sold, 1 euro will be donated to the Asindown Foundation, an organization working for the full inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Therefore, with each purchase, consumers become an active part of this social cause. Each doll will also include information about the book “Gaby’s Portraits,” which challenges myths about Down syndrome.

The dolls will be available for purchase on the Miniland and PAZ Rodríguez websites, as well as in physical stores of PAZ Rodríguez and El Corte Inglés. The price of each doll will be 44.90 euros and they will be accompanied by clothing for children that can be coordinated with the dolls.

Almudena Richart, Marketing Manager of Miniland, expressed that “we believe in the power of play as a tool for education in values and building a more inclusive world.” On the other hand, Álvaro Toubes, CEO of PAZ Rodríguez, emphasized the positive impact of children’s fashion in conveying social values, highlighting the significance of this collaboration.

With the Mini Me collection, the brands not only offer toys, but also promote a global message of inclusion and respect, reaffirming their commitment to expanding diversity beyond Spanish borders, reaching international markets in Europe, the UK, and the United States.
