On June 18, 2025, the official presentation of CONIN – Integrated Connectivity took place. This innovative platform was developed by Nest Style Santiago S.L. and Padword S.L., and it is designed to digitalize and connect tourist accommodations. This entirely online event brought together numerous industry professionals, who were able to learn in detail about this technological solution that promises to revolutionize the hotel experience.
CONIN has been created with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and is co-financed by the European Union through the DUM 2023 – Last Mile Digitalization program. The platform enables centralized digital management of the entire guest stay cycle, integrating crucial processes such as automated check-ins and check-outs, access management, adaptive energy management, as well as digital payments and operational traceability within a single technological environment.
Moisés Margaix, representative of Nest Style Santiago, emphasized that CONIN “has led to a structural change in the way we manage our processes,” highlighting that the new tool has eliminated technological fragmentation, enabling a more flexible management approach focused on enhancing the customer experience. Javier Alfonso, technical director of Padword, noted that “interoperability is not a luxury but a necessity,” underscoring the importance of co-creating and adapting technology to the realities of the industry.
The results of CONIN’s implementation are already visible, including a reduction of over 60% in check-in times thanks to digital processes, a 25% optimization in energy consumption per room, the unification of all services and devices within a single operational interface, and a notable improvement in data traceability, which paves the way for future automations.
CONIN is presented not only as an innovative solution but also as a model adaptable to other types of accommodations and hotel groups, reflecting a realistic approach to digitalization centered on the needs of the industry.
