Nexo Küchen is present at Espacio Cocina SICI 2026 with its innovative proposal called ORIGEN, developed in collaboration with José Lara Studio. This space combines architecture, nature, and design under the interesting concept “Before being a kitchen, it was a tree.” During this event, the company will also reveal significant novelties, including the new kitchen collections Vera, Savia, and Raíz, the latter being their first foray into bathroom design, demonstrating their expanded vision of habitat beyond the kitchen.
In their stand D40, located in pavilion 3, level 3, Nexo Küchen presents an environment where every element is linked to a common narrative. The ORIGEN proposal arises from an idea that recontextualizes the use of wood, not only as a material, but as a symbol of its origin. The space is designed to inspire visitors, highlighting the intrinsic connection between time, nature, and matter, with a central axis being a majestic sculptural tree symbolizing the beginning of this journey.
This tree not only represents the origin of wood and its transformation into architectural spaces, but also creates a conducive environment to encourage meetings and conversations. The design, by José Lara Studio, proposes a vision where design becomes a means to express the identity of a brand, merging architecture, materiality, and emotion.
Within this proposal, the new collections Vera and Savia are launched. Vera brings an innovative system of doors with a curved frame, seeking a more organic and fluid language, inspired by nature. The materials used, such as natural bleached oak and Alba lacquer, create a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Meanwhile, Savia evolves towards a more architectural and sophisticated aesthetic, with a design using solid wood slats that evoke the verticality of a tree’s growth, combining walnut and champagne metallic lacquer for a finish of great personality.
SICI 2026 also marks an important milestone for the company with the presentation of Raíz, representing their first collection designed for the bathroom. This collection expands the horizon of Nexo Küchen, maintaining the principles of constructive precision and warmth that characterize it. The fusion of stone, wood, light, and vegetation in Raíz aims to restore well-being from the essential, offering a contemporary and coherent proposal for the home space.
More than just a product launch, ORIGEN stands as a statement of intentions that invites reflection on the nature of design, emphasizing that it begins long before furniture; it is a process that originates in nature and develops through matter, always with the aim of improving the experience of inhabiting spaces.
