Partnership between Envalora and Teimas to Improve Waste Managers Information to SCRAP.

ENVALORA and TEIMAS have revealed a new collaboration that promises to transform waste management in Spain, focusing on automating documentation and data reporting processes. This initiative falls within the framework of the Extended Producer Responsibility Collective System (SCRAP) and aims to simplify the responsibilities of waste managers registered on their platforms.

The ENVALORA system, which has final authorization to handle industrial and commercial packaging, began its activity on January 1, 2025. Its platform, Envanet, has been designed to facilitate compliance with current regulations, specifically those stipulated in Royal Decree 1055/2022 on packaging. This system will allow all actors in the packaging value chain, including producers, holders, and waste managers, to meet regulatory requirements more efficiently.

The collaboration with TEIMAS strengthens this objective, as it will allow waste managers to use the Zero and Teixo software to automate the information related to the transportation and management of waste. Thanks to this advancement, managers will be able to send the necessary documentation directly to Envanet, simplifying and improving waste management, ensuring proper registration in the system.

The implementation of a new mass upload system is expected to increase efficiency in ENVALORA’s operational models, including collaboration with holders and waste managers. This functionality will be available not only to Zero and Teixo users, but also to those who have not yet incorporated these digital solutions into their operations.

The alliance between ENVALORA and TEIMAS is not only limited to optimizing administrative processes but also aims to advance the circular economy related to packaging management and proper waste treatment. ENVALORA, which already brings together more than 2,000 companies committed to waste management regulations, joins TEIMAS, recognized for its innovative solutions in this sector globally. This collaboration promises to establish the foundations for a more sustainable approach to waste management in Spain.
