Mohawk Industries, Inc. has announced the upcoming retirement of its Chief Financial Officer, James F. Brunk, scheduled for April 1, 2026. Nicholas P. Manthey, who is currently the Vice President of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations, will take over the position.
Brunk, a key figure in the company’s growth over the last 20 years, expressed his satisfaction with helping to solidify Mohawk’s position as a world leader in the flooring industry. He thanked the management and finance team for their outstanding work and confirmed that he would continue to support Mohawk as an advisor after his retirement.
Mohawk’s CEO, Jeffrey S. Lorberbaum, praised Brunk’s leadership as essential for the company becoming a global leader in the industry. Lorberbaum is confident that Manthey, who has worked closely with Brunk, has the necessary expertise to effectively lead the financial area.
Manthey, with previous experience at companies such as Bridgestone and Intel, joined Mohawk in 2020. He is excited about his new role and the opportunity to work with the financial team to identify new opportunities to strengthen the company’s business.
