Planxadito: Over 10,000 Planxaditos Served Since Opening

Inaugurated on May 28, the new Planxadito’s location of the Esquirol Group, located in Plaça dels Herois in Puigcerdà, has reached a significant milestone by serving over 10,000 planxaditos in just over two months. This remarkable figure reflects the warm reception the establishment has received from both locals and tourists, solidifying its status as a key culinary destination in the area.

With the arrival of the high season, interest in Planxadito’s has intensified. In the past month, the venue has welcomed over 3,700 diners, drawn by a culinary offering characterized by high-quality products, innovative recipes, and quick service. In the Clàssic’s section, traditional flavors stand out, including local cured meats from Cerdanya and the famous “mallorquí” with sobrasada and brie cheese.

On the other hand, the Irresistible’s section offers bolder combinations, including 100% beef burgers with Urgèlia cheese and a creative planxadito featuring mortadella with buffalo mozzarella and pesto. For those looking for healthier options, Saludable’s presents fresh choices like smoked salmon planxadito and avocado with buffalo mozzarella.

Dessert lovers also have their space in Dolço’s, where they can enjoy sweet treats like cheesecakes and a variety of cakes. The menu is complemented with freshly squeezed natural juices, providing refreshing flavors perfect for the season.

Edu Vidal, manager of the Esquirol Group, expressed his satisfaction with the results so far: “The public has understood the concept perfectly, and the response has been spectacular. Planxadito’s has great potential, and we are not ruling out expanding to other areas.”
