In an exciting ceremony held at the Hotel Alexandre Fira Congress in Barcelona, the retail sector celebrated its big night by awarding the best brands of 2024. The Commerce Awards of the Year have become a benchmark in the industry, highlighting companies that have excelled in customer service, quality, and trust, evaluated directly by the opinions of a wide base of consumers.
Among the outstanding brands that received this prestigious recognition are names like Farmaciasdirect, Lidl, Worten, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Ikea, C&A, Kiabi, Wallapop, and El Corte Inglés. These companies have been evaluated in an extensive process that considers 58 categories, segmented into 36 physical commerce and 22 online commerce, gathering more than 100,000 consumer votes. This process is key, as it offers brands a genuine representation of customer perception, acting as a crucial incentive to improve satisfaction and adapt to consumption habits.
Particularly notable was the triumph of Farmaciasdirect, which secured the title in the Pharmacy and Parapharmacy category for the third consecutive year. Antonio Campos, founder and CEO of the company, emphasized the importance of this award as a testament to consumers’ trust in his company. Campos highlighted his team’s commitment to quality and efficiency in e-commerce, ensuring that the online experience rivals that offered in their physical establishments.
The awards, represented by the Commerce of the Year seal, are symbols of trust and excellence, awarded in 62 different categories including Best Company of the Year, Best Online Company, Best Franchise, Best Customer Experience, Best Customer Support, and Best Retail Company for the future. Maribel Torres, general director of Commerce of the Year in Spain, expressed her satisfaction with the positive response of this edition and the active participation of brands and experts in the retail sector.
This award not only celebrates the achievements of the year, but also drives companies towards greater innovation and customer attention, laying the groundwork for a promising future in the retail sector.
