Samsung Electronics Revolutionizes Connected Lifestyle at EuroCucina 2024 with New Integrated Line

Samsung Electronics has announced the unveiling of its new premium kitchen and lifestyle products as part of its ongoing effort for a connected home at EuroCucina 2024. This event, taking place in Milan from April 16 to 21 at Rho Fiera Milano, is one of the largest internationally in the field of kitchen. Samsung will take advantage of this platform to showcase how connectivity between multiple appliances and the innovative features of their new built-in products will change everyday life at home.

“I am excited to show attendees what we have created at EuroCucina, following the global launch event ‘Welcome to BESPOKE AI’ two weeks ago,” commented Moohyung Lee, EVP and Head of the Digital Appliances (DA) Business Customer Experience Team at Samsung Electronics. “We believe that connectivity between appliances will elevate consumers’ lives to a new level. Additionally, we want customers to find the various features of the new built-in products useful in their daily lives. I hope visitors at the booth enjoy these new changes that Samsung brings to EuroCucina.”

Samsung’s booth at EuroCucina invites visitors to discover main areas consisting of the Bespoke AI zone and the Premium Built-in Kitchen zone. In the latter, Samsung plans to introduce three new built-in products that cater to European lifestyles and are filled with innovative features.

The experience at Samsung’s booth begins in the Bespoke AI zone, which demonstrates the expansion of connectivity, not only in the kitchen but also throughout the rest of the home, making users’ lives simpler and more intuitive, requiring less intervention. The enhanced experience is carried out through multiple screens, such as the AI Family Hub and AI Home, key components in this connectivity. These screens allow appliances to connect and control other devices, offering users greater convenience through the SmartThings ecosystem.

For example, SmartThings 3D Map View provides a three-dimensional perspective of the home that locates connected Samsung appliances throughout the house, facilitating operations such as turning off connected devices and checking their energy consumption. SmartThings Energy Away mode automatically turns off specific appliances when users are away from home. Additionally, they introduce energy-saving solutions such as Optimal Charging and Optimal Scheduling to efficiently manage the energy consumption of devices and appliances.

Additionally, in the Premium Built-in Kitchen zone, Samsung introduces three new products that ensure their presence in the built-in appliance market. The first product, the Built-in Wide Mount Bottom Freezer (BRB6500D), allows users to reduce their energy consumption thanks to Wi-Fi compatibility and SmartThings AI Energy Mode. This model also features the Twin Cooling system to keep food fresh for longer.

The Anyplace Induction, which allows cooking anywhere on the hob thanks to its 22 rectangular coils, is showcased as an innovation that provides a larger cooking surface. This hob includes features such as Intelligent Pan Detection and Anti-Scratch Glass, making it durable and easy to maintain.

The new Energy Efficient Dishwasher from Samsung also showcases its latest innovation in energy efficiency and connectivity with SmartThings. This model, with A/B energy labels, uses the WaterJet Clean system for intensive cleaning and operates at a low noise level. Additionally, SmartThings AI Energy mode allows users to monitor and save energy by adjusting wash cycles and temperature optimally.

Samsung continues its commitment to maintaining quality and improving the results of its products by developing innovative technologies such as AI Ecobubble and the Less Microfiber Filter and Cycle. Additionally, it is actively collaborating on projects related to SmartThings Energy to eventually create a Zero Emissions Home, synchronizing these projects with programs like Demand Response for efficient energy management.

With these demonstrations and collaborations at EuroCucina 2024, Samsung reaffirms its commitment to working towards a more sustainable and connected future, providing consumers with solutions that make daily life more comfortable and efficient.
