Samsung Electronics unveils its future of ‘Smart Home’ at the Bespoke AI Welcome Event.

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its renewed vision of ‘AI Home’ at a global event held in Seoul, South Korea, where it introduced an innovative range of smart appliances. The company aims to transform the home experience into a safer and more intuitive environment, highlighting the advanced artificial intelligence features incorporated in its new line of products.

Jeong Seung Moon, Executive Vice President and leader of the R&D team for the digital appliances business at Samsung, kicked off the conference by emphasizing the company’s goal of creating a smart home that harmoniously connects various devices. “Through our Bespoke AI appliances, we have brought to life a smart home that not only enhances daily comfort, but also enables energy savings and care,” stated Moon.

During the presentation, the new Bespoke AI appliances for 2025 were introduced, featuring innovative functionalities designed to address users’ everyday challenges. Among the highlights is the expanded AI Home display, which now includes Bespoke AI refrigerators and washing and drying combinations, among other devices.

One of the most innovative features is the new 9-inch AI Home display on refrigerators, which has received significant updates in its automatic food recognition capability through the “AI Vision Inside” technology. Other additions include the Bespoke AI hybrid refrigerator, which uses artificial intelligence to optimize cooling and adapt to consumer needs.

Samsung has also revamped its vacuum cleaner offering with the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra model, touted as the most powerful on the market, reaching 400W of suction power. Complementing this range, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum is designed to navigate complex environments and recognize obstacles, including transparent liquids.

The company has reaffirmed its commitment to offering a smart home experience that is easy to use and secure. Thanks to the AI Home display, users will be able to access all the functionalities of their Bespoke AI devices intuitively, even connecting third-party appliances through SmartThings. New services have also been introduced, such as Family Care, which sends alerts to family members in case of no movement detection.

Looking ahead to 2025, Samsung has strengthened the security of its devices through the implementation of Knox, ensuring that users enjoy a worry-free AI Home experience. Through innovations in cybersecurity and regular software updates, the company aims to provide its consumers with reliable and secure experiences.
