Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new vision “AI for All” at CES 2025, an initiative aimed at making artificial intelligence a ubiquitous and everyday experience accessible to users. Building on over ten years of leadership in connected homes, this approach seeks to harness the potential of AI to provide truly personalized services across all smart devices, redefining the existence of the modern home.
During the press conference, Samsung CEO Jong-Hee Han emphasized the company’s commitment to human-centered innovation. He showcased achievements in integrating new technologies into the home and reaffirmed the company’s intention to strengthen its dedication to offering personalized experiences by expanding the use of artificial intelligence, projecting this commitment not only in the next decade but also in the next hundred years.
Jonathan Gabrio, Head of the Connected Experiences Center at Samsung Electronics America, presented the Home AI vision, a system that adapts to different lifestyles and learns from user habits, creating a highly personalized experience in the smart home. Security and privacy play a crucial role in this strategy, and the company has enhanced its capabilities through Samsung Knox Matrix blockchain technology, which protects not only mobile devices and televisions but also appliances, fostering collaboration between devices to safeguard both the home and user information.
The SmartThings platform will continue to be essential for connecting hundreds of millions of users, equipped with cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. These innovations allow for the recognition of human movements and environmental sounds, intelligently adapting to users’ daily routines.
The company has also introduced new devices, such as the Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 360, powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors. These devices are designed to enhance productivity and facilitate creativity, incorporating AI-driven features like automatic selection and multimedia editing.
In terms of entertainment experience, new features have been introduced for Samsung products screens, including Neo QLED 8K TVs, which incorporate Vision AI to intelligently optimize image quality. New screen options have also been integrated into refrigerators and other devices, offering AI-powered entertainment services.
Beyond the home environment, Samsung has launched SmartThings Pro, a B2B solution that extends AI innovations to the business sector. This solution focuses on improving energy consumption understanding and facilitating the control of connected devices in professional settings.
