Samsung Galaxy S25+: Innovating the Van Gogh Museum Audioguide

Samsung Electronics has established a three-year partnership with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, launching a collaboration that fuses art with advanced technology. This alliance aims to enrich the museum’s audio tour, now enhanced by the Galaxy S25+ smartphones, and provide visitors with more creative interactions with the impressive collection of works by Vincent van Gogh.

Sean Yun, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics Benelux, emphasized that the purpose of technology is to foster inspiration and connection. For Yun, this agreement clearly illustrates how innovation in mobile devices can transform cultural experiences, making them more intuitive and personalized.

The revamped audio tour, officially launched on June 10, utilizes 1,600 Galaxy S25+ devices to deliver a superior storytelling experience. This upgrade not only replaces old equipment but also introduces a lighter and more compact interface, along with enhanced audio quality and more detailed visualization of the artworks.

Moreover, both Samsung and the museum plan future updates that will incorporate AI features from the Galaxy, aimed at further personalizing the visitor experience.

In celebration of this collaboration, Samsung will launch phone cases featuring designs inspired by iconic works of Van Gogh, such as “Sunflowers” and his self-portrait. These products will be available at Samsung experience stores, online platforms, and in the museum’s own shop.

Emilie Gordenker, director of the Van Gogh Museum, shared her enthusiasm for this collaboration, reaffirming the museum’s commitment to innovate and enrich the experience of its visitors.
