Samsung launches its first high-performance AI computer.

Samsung Electronics announced the launch of the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, the first device in the new Galaxy Book5 series. This laptop promises superior performance with Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2) processors and a long-lasting battery.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 offers cutting-edge computing capabilities with a total NPU power of up to 47 TOPs, and over 300 AI-accelerated features available in more than 100 applications for creativity, productivity, gaming, and entertainment. With Microsoft Phone Link, users can access their Galaxy phone screen on a larger PC display, enabling the use of popular Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Live Translate, and more. Additionally, with Intel® ARC™ GPU, graphic performance is improved by 17%.

Dr. Hark-Sang Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of New Computer R&D Team for Mobile Experience Business at Samsung Electronics, highlighted that “the Galaxy Book5 series offers cutting-edge AI experiences to Galaxy users around the world.” He added that the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 combines top-notch performance with Galaxy’s expansive mobile AI ecosystem for a unique experience.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 powers the PC Copilot+ experience with Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2) processors, featuring four times the NPU power of its predecessors. It accelerates AI capabilities with over 300 accelerated experiences in more than 100 applications. It offers up to 25 hours of video playback battery life and features super-fast charging for increased productivity.

David Feng, Vice President and General Manager of Intel’s Client Computing Group, emphasized that “the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, combined with Samsung’s PC solutions, create the ultimate computing experience, optimized to deliver the best that AI can enable.”

The device also includes advanced Galaxy AI ecosystem connectivity through Microsoft Phone Link, enabling seamless connection with select mobile devices and bringing Galaxy AI’s smart features to a larger screen. These features include Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Live Translate, and Transcript Assist.

Additionally, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Vision Booster, enhancing outdoor visibility and reducing glare. It has a super 3K resolution and adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The computer also includes an S Pen in the box, allowing for writing, drawing, and detail adjustments with multitouch gestures.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, with its slim and lightweight design, will be available in two colors: gray and silver. It integrates an adaptive palm rejection touchpad, enhancing comfort and efficiency by preventing accidental clicks.

Furthermore, this laptop is protected by Samsung Knox and Windows 11, offering multiple layers of security for comprehensive device protection against threats and ensuring credentials and data security.
