Samsung launches year-round Galaxy Exchange Program.

Samsung Electronics has launched today its new Galaxy device exchange program, called the Galaxy Trade-In Program. This initiative will allow users to trade in their Galaxy phones at any time of the year through the Samsung.com platform, without the need to purchase a new device. The company emphasizes that this program reflects its commitment to the circular economy, offering consumers not only the premium quality of their phones but also the opportunity to make significant savings through an easy and secure exchange process.

Jun Kim, Executive Vice President of Samsung and leader of the Galaxy Value Innovation team, expressed his excitement about the program launch. According to Kim, the purpose of this new offer is to “enhance the value of Galaxy devices for users and contribute to a circular economy.” He highlighted that customers will significantly benefit from the value of their devices in the market and will be able to exchange them safely, with the confidence of backed transactions.

The Galaxy Trade-In program will kick off in South Korea and France today, with plans to expand to more regions during the year 2025. The management and operation of the program will be handled by Likewize, a company specialized in device exchange and reconditioning services.
