In the recent edition of Hannover Messe, which took place from March 31 to April 4, 2025, Schaeffler, a renowned company in the field of motion technology, unveiled its new set of sensor solutions designed to optimize efficiency and extend the lifespan of various industrial applications. This presentation marked the first time the company showcased its expanded portfolio, comprising up to eight product families, following the successful merger with Vitesco Technologies in October 2024.
Among the highlighted products is the TorqueSense torque sensor, as well as sensors specifically for hydrogen applications and the innovative Zone Controller intelligent control unit. The TorqueSense is a high-resolution sensor that enhances the performance of machines and vehicles through precise torque measurements in industrial drive systems. Its integration not only promotes more effective energy control but also increases equipment durability, proving particularly beneficial for agricultural and construction machinery.
Additionally, Schaeffler introduced its innovative hydrogen measurement sensors, essential tools for increasing safety in vehicles and industrial applications. These devices can provide real-time information on the presence and concentration of hydrogen, crucial for diagnosing system status and preventing potential risks.
The Zone Controller unit was described as a comprehensive solution for improving communication and data processing among sensors. This device centralizes connections and controls all elements of a vehicle zone, ensuring fast data transfer and intelligent energy management. This optimizes the performance of electrical systems, contributing to weight reduction and reducing latency in operations.
Schaeffler continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovation in the motion sector, establishing itself as a key player in the industry, especially in the development of hydrogen-related technologies. The company aims to not only lead in future mobility but also provide advanced solutions to customers that add value to the industrialization of emerging technologies, such as robotics and humanoid robot systems.
Schaeffler’s participation in Hannover Messe highlights its dedication to advancing technologies that improve both efficiency and industrial safety, while positioning itself as a reference in sustainable mobility solutions.
