Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced significant enhancements to EcoStruxure™ Resource Advisor, a suite of enterprise software solutions designed to empower global businesses in efficiency, ESG, energy, and related risks, as well as renewables and carbon.

The product enhancements enable regulatory compliance and ESG leadership in response to reporting requirements of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will come into effect in 2025. Additionally, the development includes an enhanced experience in renewable energy that highlights opportunities, automation, and information sharing.

Recent research has pointed to a significant increase in corporate sustainability programs, reflected in increased resources dedicated to people, tools, and budget. Companies face growing challenges in simplifying ESG reporting, implementing sustainability initiatives, managing renewable energy projects, reducing carbon footprints, optimizing energy procurement, and improving operational efficiency through specific energy-saving measures.

The enhanced Resource Advisor suite offers specialized solutions addressing these needs, providing users with the flexibility to implement their various sustainability strategies. Customers can use these capabilities individually or combined, depending on their specific goals.

Resource Advisor ESG has received a major upgrade to facilitate CSRD compliance, modernizing how companies manage and report on their ESG efforts. Resource Advisor also introduces new tracking and intelligent allocation functionalities in the realm of renewables and carbon. This includes an improved experience in renewable energy management, prioritizing auditability and information sharing, and enabling automated calculation of renewable energy coverage.

“These enhancements position us as a comprehensive partner for companies that must comply with regulations such as the CSRD and other climate laws, as well as for corporate leaders who recognize ESG performance as a key indicator of business health,” stated Wilhite.
