Design Week Malaga 2024 is shaping up to be the most prominent fair in interior design, construction, architecture, and design, with a partnership also featuring the Provincial Association of Builders and Developers of Malaga. This event will showcase the most exclusive and innovative projects and trends, including proposals in natural stone and the latest in outdoor kitchens and versatile environments, thanks to the expertise of industry professionals. Design Week Malaga continues to gain support from exceptional brands and professionals who will contribute to this new edition. Aimed at architects, construction companies, interior designers, and leading firms in the industry, this fair enjoys the exceptional collaboration of the Provincial Association of Builders and Developers of Malaga (ACP Malaga), which represents over 400 member companies and is a benchmark in the luxury real estate sector on the Costa del Sol. Additionally, the Junta de Andalucía will participate in the Interior Design area, which will have its own space dedicated to showcasing the value of traditional regional craftsmanship. The event will feature a wide range of live workshops offering the best of Andalusian craftsmen, who will share their techniques and knowledge with the public.
Other brands and professionals joining Design Week Malaga 2024 include Gran Marbella Consulting, a consultancy specializing in the deluxe sector and a reference on the Costa del Sol with a team of experts in various fields serving more than 7,000 premium clients. The trend towards natural and authentic design elements is becoming increasingly strong, with natural stone playing a leading role due to its beauty, durability, and versatility. For this edition, Design Week Malaga has the support of the Association of Marble Entrepreneurs of Andalucía, AEMA, and the World Association of Natural Stone Manufacturers, WONASA. WONASA’s president and director of Litos Online magazine, Anil Taneja, will discuss new trends and applications of natural stone in architecture and interior design through his participation in the DWM Learn conference program.
Other highlights include participation from JMR Architects, known for their contemporary architecture with a focus on sustainability and natural materials, and Baelo Studio, specializing in interior design that combines tradition with the latest design technologies without losing Andalusian identity. Outdoor kitchens are becoming a trend, with companies like Muebles Veri leading the way in high-end outdoor environments, bathrooms, and kitchens, showcasing innovative and functional design materials.
Design Week Malaga Urban extends the event’s reach throughout the city with the partnership of BCD Meetings & Events, facilitating a program filled with activities, events, and spaces outside the Palace of Congresses and Fairs. Uppery Club, a prestigious business and executive club, and Cosentino City Malaga, a meeting point for architecture and interior design professionals, are also key participants.
The fair will also feature immersive technology presentations from Space, a 3D studio utilizing Unreal Engine tech for hyper-realistic architectural and interior design visualizations, offering unprecedented immersive experiences.
Vicious Magazine & Design Week Awards, by the prestigious electronic music magazine, will celebrate and recognize the hotel and Beach Club sector for their innovative design and high-level musical offerings, with awards in several categories.
