TFT Clubs: Riot Games’ New Initiative to Empower the Community in Spain

Riot Games has taken a major step towards strengthening local communities around its popular video game Teamfight Tactics (TFT) with the launch of TFT Clubs. This new initiative, which will replace the TFT Regional Circuits (CRT), allows players to create their own clubs with friends, giving them access to a series of exclusive rewards and the opportunity to participate in tournaments and events designed to promote interaction among fans.

Orlando Palai, a representative of Riot Games, highlighted the purpose of TFT Clubs by stating that it stems “from the desire to support those communities that are already there, vibrating with each Set, each game, and each win.” Thus, the proposal not only aims to enhance the competitive aspect of the game but also to build bonds among players and promote a collaborative environment.

The new club structure is organized into different levels, called “tiers,” ranging from bronze to Challenger. The allocation of these categories will depend on the activity and commitment of each club in its community. For example, to reach the bronze category, a minimum of 25 active members is required, and clubs must organize events and activities to advance to higher levels.

Clubs that achieve higher ranks will not only receive recognition but also tangible benefits. These can range from mentions on the official TFT Clubs Spain website to funding to help organize events and championships in collaboration with Riot Games. Detailed information on rewards and specific requirements for each level will be available on the program’s official website.

As part of the launch, Riot Games has also introduced a collection of limited-edition collectible pins that will serve not only as recognition within the community but also become coveted items by fans.

Among the most exciting news are the Majors, in-person competitions that will take place at the end of each set and will be open to all players, regardless of their club affiliation. However, club members will enjoy additional rewards, and the top player in these events will have the opportunity to qualify for the Paris Open, the most important event of the year in the competitive TFT scene.

With the introduction of TFT Clubs, Riot Games not only seeks to enrich the gaming experience but also to foster a sense of belonging and community among Teamfight Tactics enthusiasts, offering a space where players can connect and enjoy their shared passion together.
