The Essence of Cleanliness: Tips from an Expert

At a recent seminar dedicated to hygiene and cleanliness in the home, home maintenance expert Marta Rivera reaffirmed the importance of establishing effective routines to maintain a healthy and germ-free environment. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Rivera emphasized that regular cleaning not only contributes to a visually pleasing environment, but also plays a crucial role in disease prevention.

During her presentation, the expert emphasized the need to use appropriate and safe cleaning products, as well as the relevance of knowing the proper techniques for each type of surface. “It is essential not only to clean, but to do so effectively,” she stated. Rivera recommended using disinfectants that are effective against viruses and bacteria, especially in high-contact areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

The seminar, which brought together over 200 attendees, included practical demonstrations and a question and answer session. Many participants were surprised by the amount of microorganisms that can accumulate on everyday objects, such as doorknobs and mobile phones. “80% of infections are spread by contaminated hands,” Rivera warned, suggesting incorporating habits like frequent hand washing and weekly cleaning of electronic devices.

Another aspect addressed by the specialist was the impact of good cleaning on mental health. “A cluttered and dirty environment can generate anxiety and stress. Keeping our spaces clean can significantly contribute to our emotional well-being,” she noted.

At the end of the day, attendees were motivated to implement the strategies shared by Rivera in their own homes. “I never thought that cleaning could be so important for our overall health,” commented one participant, who was determined to apply what she had learned.

The expert concluded her intervention by reminding that cleaning is an activity that should be valued and not considered as a simple household task. “It is an investment in health and well-being for ourselves and our families,” she declared, leaving attendees with a new perspective on caring for their personal spaces.
