The IBEX® Gender Equality reaches a record number of 58 components after annual review.

New record in the number of components of the IBEX® Gender Equality, the index that brings together the most advanced Spanish listed companies in gender equality. The Technical Advisory Committee has decided to incorporate eleven new companies and remove five, so the index will be composed of 58 companies, compared to the 52 it has had so far. The changes will be effective from June 24.

The benchmark index on gender equality in Spanish listed companies is reviewed annually based on the information published by the CNMV on the presence of women in the decision-making bodies of companies. Any company from the Madrid Stock Exchange General Index (IGBM) that has between 25% and 75% female presence on its Board of Directors and between 15% and 85% in top management is included in the index.

In this latest review, ACS, Acerinox, Adolfo Domínguez, Airtificial, Clínica Baviera, Grupo Catalana Occidente, Iberpapel, Minor Hotels, Prosegur, Renta 4 and Sacyr join the index, while Prosegur Cash, Gestamp, Grifols, Indra and Melia Hotels exit. Companies that continue to be part of the index include Atresmedia, Audax Renovables, Aena, Almirall, Alantra, Acciona, Acciona Energía, Atrys, BBVA, Bankinter, CaixaBank, Cie Automotive, Cellnex, Inmobiliaria Colonial, Dia, Global Dominion, Ebro Foods, Ence, Enagás, Faes Farma, GAM, Grenergy, IAG, Iberdrola, Inditex, Línea Directa, Logista, Lar España, Mapfre, Duro Felguera, Metrovacesa, Nicolás Correa, Deoleo, Oryzon Genomics, Pharma Mar, Prim, Prisa, Redeia, Repsol, Realia, Laboratorios Rovi, Sabadell, Santander, Soltec, Telefónica, Unicaja and Vocento.
