LiberNovo has shared the exciting news that their ergonomic chair, the LiberNovo Omni, has been awarded the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 in the Product Design – Beauty/Wellness category. This important recognition highlights the innovation and functionality of the design, as well as the user experience, positioning the award as one of the most important in the field of design worldwide.
The LiberNovo Omni has been created with the purpose of revolutionizing the experience of sitting for long hours. Unlike traditional chairs, this dynamic model does not force its users to adopt fixed postures, but continuously adjusts to the body’s natural positions, promoting movement throughout the day.
This innovative design incorporates intelligent ergonomic technologies that aim to improve comfort and spinal health. One of the key elements is the Dynamic Support system, which automatically adjusts the chair based on the user’s posture changes. Additionally, its adjustable ergonomic frame ensures proper alignment of the spine, even during prolonged periods of use.
The LiberNovo Omni aligns with a growing trend in contemporary workspaces, where sedentary behavior can lead to significant health problems. Thanks to its human-centered design and advanced engineering, this chair not only promotes physical well-being, but also supports productivity and natural movement at work.
The design team at LiberNovo, led by Zhenxu Wang and in collaboration with Kairos Innovation, sought to set a new standard in ergonomic chairs that goes beyond traditional support, emphasizing the dynamic interaction between the chair and its user.
Since its establishment in 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD has established itself as a symbol of excellence in design. Each year, a jury of international experts evaluates thousands of entries from various countries. In 2026, over 10,000 submissions were received, making this award even more valuable.
With this award, LiberNovo reinforces its commitment to innovate in the design of ergonomic seating, addressing the growing need to create work environments that prioritize long-term performance and well-being. The company aims to revolutionize the way people sit, work, and move, always seeking advanced solutions that meet the demands of today’s work world.
