The work of Ramón Lapayese returns this summer to Italy and Spain.

The work of renowned painter and sculptor Ramón Lapayese will once again be showcased in Europe during the summer and fall of 2025, with a series of exhibitions traveling through the cities of Naples, Santa Pola, Milan, Venice, and Florence. The exhibitions, organized by the Italian cultural organization Divulgarti and directed by Loredana Trestin, will present a comprehensive overview of Lapayese’s rich artistic career, featuring four sculptures, fourteen paintings, and one lithograph.

These strategically located exhibitions in five key cities will provide the public with a window into the artist’s creative world, allowing a rediscovery of his diverse technical and expressive range. The selected pieces, some of which have not been seen since 2007, belong to Lapayese’s personal collection and have been carefully curated to offer a unique experience to both casual visitors and art collectors and experts.

The exhibition cycle will run from July to October, during which the works will be appreciated in an enriched cultural setting tailored to different audiences. The organization has designed an experience that seamlessly integrates the physical with the digital, also launching a revamped online platform.

Ramón Lapayese’s official website has been updated to include over 800 high-resolution images of his works, art critiques, and archive materials such as historical exhibition posters. Additionally, a blog has been implemented that will be updated monthly, offering curatorial reflections and analyses of the artist’s works, thereby ensuring a closer connection with contemporary generations.

Incorporating innovation into his artistic approach, the website now features an online store offering t-shirts and textile items with unique designs based on Lapayese’s sketches and mixed techniques. This initiative aims to expand the reach of his art, allowing fans and collectors to take a piece of his legacy in a new and accessible format.

Ramón Lapayese, known for his figurative style and unique interpretation of the world through painting, has enjoyed a prolific career, with over 70 solo exhibitions and 120 group exhibitions to his name. His work has made a significant impact on contemporary art history, earning him numerous awards.

With these exhibitions and the renewal of his digital presence, a new chapter begins for Lapayese, solidifying his relevance and ensuring that his work continues to resonate in the current artistic sphere.
