Traveling to Portugal in an electric vehicle will be much easier and safer now thanks to Zunder.

Thanks to Zunder’s innovative App and the new eZCard, electric vehicle users will be able to charge their cars across the entire network of electric stations in Portugal without the need to download additional apps. Zunder, which already allows charging across the entire Iberian network, has also begun deploying its own stations in Portugal with the aim of promoting electric mobility in the region. This advancement makes it easier for drivers to travel throughout the Iberian peninsula, activating thousands of chargers through the interoperability offered by Zunder.

This solution eliminates the need for users to download new apps or buy exclusive payment cards for the Portuguese charging network, making it simpler and more convenient to travel across the Iberian peninsula and Europe. With the Zunder app, users can manage all their payments and charging processes in a simpler and safer way. The new eZCard, on the other hand, allows for direct and secure vehicle charging simply by placing the card near the charger’s reader.

In Portugal, all public chargers are managed through a single platform, Mobi.e, which until now required drivers to adapt to new charging and payment procedures. The integration of the Zunder App into the Mobi.e system provides users with comprehensive access to all public chargers in the country, eliminating the need to change their usual charging processes.

Zunder’s App offers several significant advantages for electric vehicle drivers in Portugal. First, they will be able to access the entire European charging network using a single application, without the need to download other apps or incorporate new payment methods. Secondly, the eZCard enhances the charging experience by allowing for the use of fewer apps and simplifying the process. It also ensures increased security in payment systems, allowing users to receive alerts whenever the card is used.

Zunder not only facilitates electric mobility, but is also expanding its ultra-fast charging network across Europe. Currently, it has over 700 operational charging points in Spain and France, and thanks to a recent financing agreement with Banco Santander, it is preparing to open new stations in Portugal and other European countries.

The Zunder network has been designed to improve and simplify the customer experience through the Zunder App, available in the App Stores, as well as through Apple Car Play, Android Auto, and Apple Watch. Additionally, users can choose to pay with a credit card and POS terminal. The eZCard is available for purchase through the Zunder App or on the official Zunder website. With these advancements, Zunder continues to lead electric mobility and make life easier for electric vehicle users in Europe.
