As spring approaches, LiberNovo has introduced an innovative initiative that aims to transform the concept of smart workspace. This new approach emphasizes the importance of movement and dynamic ergonomics, with the goal of improving the health and well-being of workers, breaking away from the traditional static posture that has prevailed for decades.
Ergonomics in office chairs has historically been based on the well-known “90-degree rule”, a model that has proven to be ineffective for current work demands. Recent studies suggest that the real issue is not just the sitting posture, but the lack of movement. Maintaining static positions for long periods can affect not only posture but also compress the spine and restrict circulation, leading to increased fatigue.
LiberNovo argues that any attempt to modernize the workspace will be incomplete if the physical well-being of employees is not considered. To address this, they have introduced the LiberNovo Omni chair, an innovative design that promotes “dynamic ergonomics”. Unlike conventional office furniture, the Omni chair adapts to the body’s micromovements in real time. Its Bionic FlexFit backrest, equipped with 16 spherical joints and 8 tension plates, provides flexible support that adjusts to the user’s posture.
This season, the chair is also available in a new color, Moss Green, an earthy tone that moves away from the classic office grey and is based on biophilic design principles, aiming to reduce visual fatigue and create a more relaxing environment. The chair offers four modes of use, allowing users to switch between intensive work tasks and moments of rest and deep relaxation.
The founder of LiberNovo has emphasized that the industry has spent too much time teaching people to sit still without moving, highlighting that movement is essential to maintain optimal energy levels. With a scheduled launch in mid-March, LiberNovo’s Spring Comfort Event invites all professionals to go beyond simply organizing their workspace, promoting lasting improvements in the health and concentration of employees.
