Zaragoza will host the next edition of Venture on the Road with BStartup, SeedRocket and Wayra.

Venture on the Road continues its journey through Spain with a stop in Zaragoza, scheduled for January 16th. This event aims to identify the most innovative startups in Aragon and facilitate the connection between entrepreneurs and investors. This eighth edition is organized by BStartup from Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket, and Wayra, Telefónica’s corporate venture capital, in collaboration with Google Cloud.

The event will take place at the Etopia building, a center dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology. During the event, the winning startup will be selected, which will be awarded from the proposals submitted by various emerging companies in the region. Registrations are open until January 7th through the official Venture on the Road website, in order to promote investment opportunities in the community and allow startups to showcase their projects to potential investors, thus creating an enriching professional network.

This year, the initiative is supported by the local entrepreneurial community, collaborating with organizations such as Zebra, La Terminal, Fundación Aragón Emprende, Instituto Aragonés de Fomento, CEEI Aragón, and Zaragoza Activa. The startup that receives recognition in Zaragoza will not only gain visibility but will also have the opportunity to participate in the national grand final in May 2025 in Madrid. Additionally, they will access additional benefits, such as the Google Cloud native digital program, which offers credits, technical support, and specialized training.

Throughout this eighth edition, Venture on the Road will visit six Spanish cities, expanding its talent search beyond the main technological centers of Madrid and Barcelona. After its visit to Gijón, the tour will head to Sevilla, Bilbao, Girona, and Alicante in the coming months. This initiative aims to boost the entrepreneurial ecosystem throughout the country, highlighting local talent and supporting startups with great potential.
