The Galician company Alkanatur, specialized in water filtration and alkalization solutions, has made an important announcement regarding the expansion of certifications for its pitcher, the company’s flagship product. This achievement has been made possible after conducting various safety and quality tests in internationally renowned laboratories, underscoring Alkanatur’s commitment to transparency and innovation.
Among the most notable certifications is one issued by the Biosanitary Research Institute of Granada (IBS Granada), led by Professor of Internal Medicine, Dr. Nicolás Olea. This study confirms that the water treated with the Alkanatur pitcher does not contain undesirable substances. Additionally, the Oliver Rodés Laboratory has validated that the product complies with the UNE 149101:2015 standard, a Spanish regulation governing water treatment equipment for human consumption, ensuring the quality of materials and chemical and microbiological parameters.
Alkanatur also adheres to Regulation (EU) 10/2011, which specifies that plastics in contact with water must not release undesirable migratory substances. This compliance highlights that the product meets high-quality European requirements. Furthermore, the National Institute of Public Health of Poland (PZH) has awarded a health quality certificate that emphasizes the uniqueness of the Alkanatur pitcher in the European market.
Juan Carlos, a member of the company’s Quality Department, stated: “These certifications are the result of years of work and investment in research. For us, consumer trust is essential, which is why we will continue to update our studies with leading laboratories in Europe.” In this way, Alkanatur reaffirms its commitment to continually expand and update its certifications, striving to ensure the trust and safety of its customers in its products.
