Collaboration Between CSIC and Muy Interesante Foundation to Promote Scientific Culture

The Muy Interesante Foundation for the Social Transfer of Knowledge and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) have signed a General Protocol of Action with the aim of promoting scientific culture and promoting the social dissemination of science. This collaboration seeks to combine the scientific excellence of the CSIC with the communicative capacity of both entities to reach a wide audience in both Spain and Latin America.

This initiative arises from a shared conviction: that scientific dissemination is fundamental for the well-being of society. The CSIC State Agency, recognized as the largest public research organization in Spain, and the Muy Interesante Foundation, known for its track record in scientific communication, commit to work together to disseminate scientific findings to a broad audience.

The agreement will be materialized through the various communication channels of the Muy Interesante Foundation, ensuring a quality and adapted dissemination to different audiences about the research carried out by the CSIC in various areas of knowledge.

The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) is the largest public institution dedicated to research in Spain and one of the main ones in Europe. Linked to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, its main objective is to develop and promote research for scientific and technological advancement. The CSIC has more than 120 centers and institutes in all the autonomous communities of Spain and employs more than 15,000 people.

On the other hand, the Muy Interesante Foundation for the Social Transmission of Knowledge is a non-profit organization focused on the dissemination of science and culture. Through its various publications and platforms, the Foundation promotes knowledge and critical thinking in society.

This collaboration represents an important step in the mission of both entities to bring scientific knowledge to the general public, thus contributing to the development of a more informed and critical society.
