Here’s the translation to American English:

Grupo Avintia has made a significant step in transforming the senior living sector with its new project called ávita Care. During an event held in Madrid, in collaboration with Urban by Ciare and the law firm Garrigues, this model was presented, promising to optimize the industrialized construction of “care homes,” achieving an annual cost reduction of up to 24%. This advancement is crucial in a sector that faces constant challenges and an increasing demand due to the aging population.

The event gathered key figures from the institutional sphere and experts specializing in dependency care. Various discussion panels addressed both the challenges and opportunities presented by the development of senior living facilities. One panel, focused on collaboration between the public and private sectors, included representatives from different autonomous communities who shared their action plans and emphasized the need to strengthen these collaborations in the context of demographic aging.

Another panel dedicated to the management of residences discussed the difficulties faced by operators, from regulation to quality of care, with financial sector experts discussing necessary investments and challenges in a constantly changing environment.

The ávita Care model, presented by Álvaro Nogueira of Grupo Avintia and Carlos Sánchez of Shar Arquitectura, stands out for its innovative industrialized construction system, which not only reduces the execution time by approximately six months but also generates significant savings in supply and maintenance costs. This could translate into an increase in revenues of over one million euros for medium-sized residences.

The ávita Care facilities are equipped with advanced technology, including sensors for risk detection, automatic monitoring of medical parameters, and climate and security systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

At the end of the event, María José Piccio-Marchetti Prado highlighted the effectiveness of the Vive Plan from the Community of Madrid, which has committed to developing affordable housing. To date, nearly 5,000 housing units have been added, approximately 2,000 of which have been built using the innovative ávita system. This plan aims to incorporate an additional 4,000 units before 2026, providing housing solutions for around 22,000 tenants.
