Mobius Group, known for its leadership in mobility services and fleet management solutions, has made a milestone in the industry by implementing its innovative ‘Augmented Appraisal Map’ (MPA) tool. This advanced technology, which combines three-dimensional models with augmented reality, is revolutionizing the vehicle appraisal processes. Currently, the MPA has already been deployed for managing the first fleet in France, supervised by Mobius’ appraisers.
The MPA represents a significant advancement in automotive appraisals, surpassing traditional methods that relied on capturing and classifying multiple photographs. Now, the process is simplified by recording a single two-minute video, which transforms into a navigable 3D model. This allows experts to analyze damages from any perspective more quickly and accurately, significantly reducing errors related to interpreting conventional images.
Fernando Pérez Granero, CEO of Mobius Group, emphasized the importance of meeting commitments with clients and the quality of appraisal services. In his words: “Our obsession is to meet commitments with clients and ensure the quality of our appraisal services. That’s why we develop specific technologies for different automotive appraisal tasks.” Granero ensures that the MPA provides appraisers with a complete and precise context, optimizing their work and ensuring maximum quality results.
The MPA offers multiple advantages, including efficiency in time thanks to the rapid generation of 3D models; high precision, allowing for damage identification from various angles; integration with artificial intelligence and mixed reality devices like Meta Quest 3 or Apple Vision Pro; and cost and carbon footprint reduction by avoiding unnecessary travel.
In addition to this innovative development, the Damage Inspector is also introduced, a system that uses artificial intelligence and image recognition to increase the reliability of evaluations.
With the implementation of the MPA, Mobius Group challenges current boundaries and provides appraisers with a detailed view of vehicles, no matter where they are. This innovation is part of a broader set of customized solutions for insurers, fleet companies, and mobility operators. As a member of Groupe Saretec, Mobius Group operates internationally in countries such as Spain, France, and Chile, and remains committed to sustainability, connectivity, and safety in the mobility sector.
