The Network of Medieval Cities and Villages has inaugurated a new phase of the IV Edition of its Instagram Photo Contest, known as #concursoFotoRed. Until last Sunday, June 23, participants were able to upload images capturing the monumental heritage of any of the seven medieval villages that are part of the network, with the possibility of winning three different prizes.
A professional jury has already selected the six best photographs. Now, it’s the turn of the Instagram community, which until July 7 at 11:59 pm, can vote for their favorites through “Likes” on the network’s public profile on Instagram. It will be at that moment when the winners will be determined, based on the photos that accumulate the most ‘Likes’. The winning images will be published in both the Stories and posts of the profile @villasmedievales.
The first prize consists of a one night stay with breakfast, a meal or dinner for two people and a guided tour of one of the cities that are part of the Network. Winners must contact the contest organization within one month after the publication of the results to arrange the date to enjoy the prize, which will be subject to the availability of accommodation. The validity of the prize will expire one year after the date of the winner’s publication.
The second and third prizes consist of typical wine and gastronomic products from the towns belonging to the Medieval Network. The organization will contact the winners through a private message on Instagram, providing an email and a phone number so that the lucky ones can request their prizes and select the dates to enjoy them.
“The winner will have one month from the publication of the drawing winners to contact us and claim their prize. If they do not contact us within that month, they will forfeit the right to the prize,” the organization stated in a press release.
With this initiative, the Network of Medieval Cities and Villages not only promotes the conservation and appreciation of monumental heritage, but also encourages community participation and commitment on social networks.
