The Hervás family, well-known entrepreneurs from Sigüenza, have decided to expand their businesses through a safe bet in the city of Doncel, such as tourism, by opening the four-star hotel Infinitvm on Calle Mayor.
In a privileged location, at Calle Mayor, 10, in the heart of Sigüenza’s historic center, the Hervás family has rehabilitated a building to turn it into the four-star hotel Infinitvm. Acquired by the parents of the Hervás Cuevas siblings in the 90s, a first renovation was done to maintain the structure. After being an exhibition hall for the family business and an art gallery, the family decided to turn it into a dream tourist accommodation.
The work started in 2023 and opened to the public on November 23rd. The building has three floors, plus a luxury semi-basement, with the Templarium pool and the massage room.
The ground floor includes the common areas: the entrance hall, reception, the bar lounge, which has a gastrobar exclusively for guests, and a small office. The building will be expanded in the northwest courtyard with a small utility room that will serve the establishment and two small toilets.
On the first and second floors, there are six exclusive rooms (three double rooms with bathrooms on the first floor), all different, only for adults, in the heart of Sigüenza. All bookings include welcome details, a session in the Templarium pool, a “zero gravity” couples massage in the spectacular relaxation room, and very special breakfasts. The entrepreneurs have expanded this gastronomic offer with a gastrobar that only serves customers.
At Infinitvm, every detail has been taken care of. The decoration is a mix of classic furniture with modern proposals, all made with noble woods, thus respecting the family’s relationship with this industry. It’s their signature. In fact, one of the double rooms is entirely made of wood. Most of the decoration is custom-made and handcrafted by artisans from Sigüenza. “Infinitvm is a project entirely made in Sigüenza, and we are very proud of it,” says Almudena Sienes, one of the co-owners.
Select gastronomy, quality materials, infinite care in every detail, and wonderful views. All rooms overlook Plaza Mayor and the cathedral of Sigüenza, the famous Fortis Seguntina.
The entrepreneurs are very grateful to ADEL Sierra Norte. “At a time when accessing bank financing is not easy, with ADEL, everything has been easy. They have advised us. Their efficient and fast work has been in sync with the project. And, being able to make partial certifications, has been very helpful,” Almudena continues, also thanking the support of the tourism delegation of the Region of Guadalajara and the administrative agility provided by the City Council of Sigüenza.
The opening has already generated one direct job, but it has also generated, and will continue to generate, much more indirect employment. Launching the Infinitvm hotel has cost 198,260.10 euros, of which ADEL has subsidized 89,217.05, that is, 45% of the investment.
