XCharge Europe GmbH, a leader in electric vehicle charging solutions, has taken a step further in its consolidation in Europe by opening an innovative testing center in Hamburg. This strategic move reinforces its commitment to electric mobility in Germany and its connections with clients and partners in Europe. With the increase in electric vehicle circulation, the need for reliable charging infrastructure is becoming increasingly urgent. XCharge is responding to this challenge by expanding its research and development capabilities with this new laboratory in Germany, which will strengthen its European headquarters.
The center will test a wide range of company products, including the C6, C7, and Net Zero Series charging stations, adapting to various usage scenarios from charging stations to bus fleets and shopping centers. Albina Iljasov, head of the European division at XCharge, stated that this opening fulfills the company’s promise to bring value to the European context, allowing for a better understanding of its local clients and a more efficient response to their demands.
With a mission to ensure compatibility with the latest electric vehicle models, the center will be prepared to work on everything from cars to trucks and buses. Customers will be able to experience the charging stations on-site and receive guidance from a specialized team. Iljasov emphasized the company’s intention to offer an authentic experience where customers can interact directly with the products.
In addition to technical testing, the center will support backend system integration, offer software customization, and facilitate product evolution based on market studies. This center joins the already existing testing laboratory in Madrid, operational since the beginning of 2023, thus strengthening XCharge’s innovative capacity and enriching the business environment of Hamburg in electric mobility.
With operations beginning in October 2024, the new center in Hamburg demonstrates XCharge’s commitment to innovative and customer-centered solutions, reinforcing its role in electric mobility on the continent. The inauguration solidifies the company as a cornerstone in the development of charging infrastructures, vital for the sustainable growth of electric vehicles in Europe.
