6 Miele appliances have been awarded this year, with two significant international awards. All of them have been awarded the iF Design Awards 2023, and five with the Red Dot Design Awards. The jury for the IF Design Awards consisted of 132 experts from over 120 countries worldwide, while the jury for the Red Dot Design Awards consisted of 40 international experts.
The appliances awarded with both accolades are the KM 7897 Diamond induction cooktop and the KMDA 7473 and KMDA 7272 Silence induction cooktops with integrated extractor.

This cooktop can withstand continuous use of kitchen utensils, keeping it like new for longer and significantly reducing scratches from frequently moving cookware when cooking. With this new technology, scratches caused by sand are reduced by 95% and those caused by abrasive sponges by 70%.
