On March 6, 7, and 8, Madrid will become the epicenter of cybersecurity with the celebration of the XV edition of RootedCON. This event, which has gained relevance in Europe and attracts professionals from around the world, will take place at Kinépolis in Pozuelo de Alarcón. More than 150 experts are expected to participate, sharing their recent research and discoveries in an environment conducive to knowledge exchange.
RootedCON aims to create an inclusive and neutral space where ethical hackers, cybersecurity professionals from relevant companies, and representatives of the State Security Forces and Bodies come together. Over the years, this congress has expanded internationally, with previous editions in Portugal and Panama, highlighting its impact on the global cybersecurity community.
This year, the event will expand its exclusive tracks, driven by prominent partnerships such as Criptored, ISACA Madrid Chapter, and ProtAAPP, among others. This will allow for a more diverse range of content and themes, benefiting attendees with a wide range of knowledge on the latest trends and challenges in cybersecurity.
Between March 3 and 5, before the congress, Bootcamps and RootedLabs will be held at the Eurostars I-Hotel in Pozuelo de Alarcón. These trainings are highly valued in the field of cybersecurity, offering participants the opportunity to delve into specific areas of interest.
One aspect that has generated great enthusiasm is the HackerNight, a nighttime competition that will bring together over 100 hackers searching for vulnerabilities in private platforms. Participants will compete for a prize exceeding one million euros, awarded to those who identify the most critical errors.
RootedCON also has the support of prestigious companies, with Tarlogic and Var Group as diamond sponsors, supported by other prominent brands such as Telefónica, Capgemini, and Kaspersky. Last year, the congress brought together 6,000 professionals, and it is expected that this year expectations will be exceeded due to the increased capacity of the venue.
With its rich offering of activities and the presence of renowned figures in the sector, RootedCON 2025 promises to be a key event for technology and cybersecurity enthusiasts, establishing itself as a must-attend event on the sector’s calendar.
